Atlas Magnetics’ manufacturing heritage dates back to 1958 through a legacy of companies dedicated to the design and manufacture of custom solenoids, valves, actuators, and magnetic devices for aerospace, defense, and industrial applications.

Over the decades, this foundation of engineering expertise and precision manufacturing grew through the development of specialized electromagnetic products used in demanding mission-critical environments.

In 2008, Atlas Magnetics entered a new chapter under the ownership of Alfonso Cruz. During this period, Atlas acquired the assets of VIP Magnetics and Datex Instruments, bringing together decades of additional expertise in electromagnetic design, aerospace applications, and precision manufacturing. These acquisitions expanded Atlas’s capabilities while preserving the technical knowledge and customer relationships that had been built over generations.

Today, Atlas Magnetics combines more than six decades of manufacturing heritage with modern engineering, quality systems, and production capabilities. Operating from Anaheim, California, Atlas continues to provide custom solenoids, valves, actuators, magnetic devices, and electromechanical assemblies for customers throughout the aerospace, defense, industrial, and commercial sectors.
